Geocache Description:

This hunt will take you into the Tangier-Grand Lake Wilderness Area on Nova's Scotia's Eastern Shore, a protected area of 16,000 ha (40,000 acres) consisting of rugged hills, conifer forest, richly endowed with lakes, waterways and wildlife. Located in the eastern portion of Halifax Regional Municipality between Ship Harbour and Mooseland, this near-coastal wilderness is well known for its trout fishing and canoe-tripping opportunities. There is very little development in the area aside from a few abandoned woods roads.

To get there, follow Highway 7 from Musquodoboit Harbour to the east side Ship Harbour. Park at the "parking" coordinates as far over on to shoulder of the highway as you can get (there is more room on the north side of the road). If you don't feel comfortable parking here, backtrack about 900 meters and there is a wider spot on the south side of the highway.

Enter the woods at the parking coordinates. The cache is a cammoflaged plastic container hidden near a large glacial erratic.

The terrian you encounter on the way to this cache is a sample (on a smaller scale) of what to expect on your way to this cache's big brother GC11F0M "It's up there - But how?" a few hundred meters up the hill.

Enjoy and happy hunting!
