NAME CHANGE FROM EAST END RAIL TO TRAIL

Here is your new adventure to the East End. A nice and easy walking, hiking, or biking experience.

The East End Chamber of Commerce is very active in promoting the East End area, cleaning up different roadways, installing new parks, promoting new businessess. The area runs from downtown to Broadway and from the Ship Channel to the Gulf Freeway.

They have converted this abandon railroad to a hike and bike trail. Known as the Harrisburg Hike & Bike Trail, it runs parallel to Harrisburg Blvd.

You will see other people enjoying their walking and biking.

The cache contains only a log sheet so bring a pen or pencil. Plenty of parking along the route
