This cache is located in a remote location off State Highway 24 by the old road southwest of the town of Caineville, Utah.
There is a road that cuts south across the wash from highway 24, but it is sometimes muddy and not so good for 2-wheel drive cars, but it is not too long of a hike in to the cache. Or, start at the Rodeway Inn located 18 miles east of the Capitol Reef Visitor Center. Drive south from Highway 24 on dirt road, turn to the west and pass the old church building, turn south across the Caineville Wash.
This cache was placed near UFO crash site after it was discovered from information given in the following eye witnesses’ account:
“We were driving near Caineville in the dead of night. There was no moon that night and the night was pitch black. Suddenly we saw something bright hovering in the sky. A craft was directly over an electric power pole with a transformer mounted on it. The bottom of the UFO was open and arcs of electricity were shooting upward. After the aliens apparently finished refueling, the bottom closed and the ship shot upward and out of site. We watched this for about 15 minutes.”
This might seem like a tall tale, but the sky-rocketing price for electrical power in the last few years might be explained by this reported ET phenomenon.
