ACGA Intro to Geocaching #8
The third season of Intro to Geocaching workshops, at various HRM Library locations.
The Atlantic Canada Geocaching Association's workshop working group will be conducting the following workshop entitled: Introduction to Geocaching. This will be a 2 hour session where geocachers of all experience level are welcome to attend this workshop. Bring along someone new to the activity.

The Introduction to Geocaching session will be directed to people recently involved in geocaching, or those looking to get involved. The following topics will be discussed:
* Introduction to Geocaching
* Terminology
* How to get started
* Things to remember
* Before you go out
* GPS overview
* Trackables
* Types of caches
* Type of cachers
Afterwards a gethering will take place on-site to talk about geocaching. A number of items will be on display including:
* cammoflage techniques
* geocaching accessories
* geocoins
There will be a demo geocache hidden within the library, so that newcomers can get a first taste of a cammo geocache!
There is no cost to the session, and make sure you have your library card, so that you can access the Wireless Internet.
