Geocache Description:


This is a regular cache located just off the Rail Trail in Rutland, MA. This part of the trail is made of packed stone which as of today is still about 50% covered in snow and ice.
Last summer/fall my wife and I took two of our grandchildren on a walk down the rail trail looking for cache locations. Along the way the kids had a great time playing with all the frogs that lived along the path. We spent most of the afternoon exploring the area, watching the frogs, and throwing rocks into the water, of course when there were no frogs.
The cache is a small camo container with the usual trinkets. I also dropped a couple of bugs. Don’t forget to look for the western coordinates to Ashley and Tyler’s Frog cache. They are written in the log book and also on the inside of the lid.
If anyone feels the coordinatess are off drop me an email.
Parking for all the frog caches can be found on Charnock Hill Rd. There is room for a few cars. On the west side there is an access rd that will put you on the trail.
