Welcome to Xtream Evil by Night Ranger
This cache takes place almost entirely in a large trench with extreme terrain changes, mud, and a stream. Please do not attempt this cache alone. This cache is different from any cache that I have ever seen, I hope it works well for us all. This is what I will call a challenge cache. This is a very fun and intense challenge that will hopefully inspire others to do similar type caches. This is a multi cache with X number of stages. Please read the entire cache description page before attempting this cache.
During this cache, you will collect equipment from different stages, and use that equipment to construct a structure in order to retrieve one particular stage. Each stage is listed in the child coordinates and should show up in your GPS under waypoints. The final is a large ammo box with some swag.
Due to the nature of this cache, only one group of cachers on the course at a time. In order to facilitate this, I have included a card at the first stage that has the coordinates to the second stage. When you find the first stage, please take that card with you while you are on the course. This way, if another cacher sees that there is no card in Stage 1, he will know that he must come back later. I hope this will eliminate any overlap. Remember though, once you are done, please return the card to Stage 1.
Equipment: Chain Removable Chain link Wire RopeRope in ammo can
All equipment provided is used at your own discretion. All equipment must be inspected prior to use to ensure the participants safety. I have supplied the equipment but it is the cachers responsibility to use it safely. I have taken steps to ensure that the equipment is kept in the best conditions possible. Please let me know if any equipment needs to be replaced or repaired. A safety harness is optional.
The Instructions for the build
The build is a simple two line bridge. Go to 36 08.071 079 51.352 to find the location of the build. I have included the wire rope for your feet which will hold most of your weight and won't stretch too much. The nylon rope in the ammo can is for your hands and has an eye splice on one end. This helps so that you only have to make one knot. I recommend getting the rope as tight as possible (retighten as necessary,) before crossing as it will stretch. One the other end, I recommed the -Tautline hitch. There are plenty of places online that you can find detailed information on tying this knot before you go! You are not limited to this knot, other knots will work!
Please tightenthe chain link connector before getting on the wire rope.
The Return of Equipment
All equipment must be returned to it's original position so that the next cacher will have the same opportunity to find this cache. Replacing the stages is such an important part of completing this task that logs will be deleted if this step is not done. Thanks for your cooperation.

This hunt will require travel of more than 1/2 mile, in extreme terrain and it will take at least 2 hours to complete with the new any order option. T0pDawg went from start to finish in 2 hours 12 minutes, with me there to help at various stages. Please plan your time accordingly. Thanks TopDawg! Let me know how long it took you in your log.
I am requiring that a picture be taken at the completion of construction with at least one member of your party, on the structure. I would prefer that each member take a photo on the structure but am not requiring that.
Better coordinates or ideas?

You are attempting this geocache hunt of your own free will and volition; you have not been coerced in any way by "Night-Ranger" or anyone at Geocaching.com,. If you are placed in any danger, sickness, compromising situation or injured due to the actions of yourself, other people, wild or domestic animals or the natural and man made environment around you—you must take care of yourself and your problems—I am not at fault—remember, it was your CHOICE to go on this hunt and it is your CHOICE to participate in the sport of Geocaching.
