FAUX NEWS ALERT-Calaveras Hills 03-28-2008
New forces are drawn into the fracas today as word of a possible conflict reaches the Guajome Confederation. In an action widely seen as a show of support for the peaceful Olivenians, the GC has sent their top military advisor, Major Ollie to aid in the reinforcement of defenses of the Calaveras front against the marauding Lotratian hordes. Major Ollie was recently demoted from Lt. Colonel after the scandal broke involving the discovery of the sale of contraband thistles to the Fusternians. It is believed that Major Ollie was attempting to fund his illegal war against the Elfin Forrest Dominion. His plot was uncovered when documents outlining his plan were found in the hands of his Fairy Fawn, who was apprehended in the process of destroying some of these documents. Major Ollie, eager to put the unfortunate blemish on his otherwise spotless military record behind him, was seen entering a conference of high ranking Olivenian officials. Major Ollie could not be reached for comment.
