Cords posted are the trail head only. Not the actual cache. YOU MUST DO SEARCHING ON THE GEO-WEBSITE BEFORE DOING THIS CACHE!
First jot down the trail head cords. Then find the closest Benchmark nearest them. Once you have that, proceed to the find this very old style Benchmark. The area immediately around Benchmark can be slippery. There are also thorns and vines growing up very near area. If you park in the church lot, you do NOT have to cross the road.
Once you found it, the cache is EXACTLY 53' on a magnectic bearing of 30 degrees. North - north east from Benchmark. If you can not figure this bearing, look in a circle 53' away! Cache is a small LocK/Lock with cammo tape.
I enjoy Benchmarking almost a much as Geocaching. This style is very old and few of these exist. The are several along this path. Another about 1 mile east, and one on the bridge just off County Rd 4 on the same path going west. I hope you enjoy this. Please look out for muggles walking and hide as good or better than found. Do not leave it exposed to be found by others non cachers please!
