This cache is a glass coffee jar type container wrapped in a plastic bag for greater protection from weather. Besides the usual swap articles, it contains a First Find Trophy.
Leave the Herberton - Irvinebank road at S17º 23.830’ E 145º 13.498’ and turn south east up the valley. If you are in a small low-clearance vehicle it might be best to park here. Vehicles with reasonable clearance can continue to Jumna Dam at S17º24.071’ E145º 13.486’. From here it is but a short hike to the cache site. Access to the dam can be dangerous in times of high flood. Please use common sense. There is a wood burning barbecue at the park area and a table and chairs outfit in a shelter shed. So a swim and a barbecue lunch could be a very pleasant addition to this cache activity. It is a popular area with the locals, but if you can give the impression that you are mad keen birdwatchers or something to give you an excuse to hike off into the bush, they will not be a problem.
