Geocache Description:

OK, so I do some new caches up Collins Pass and on the way back I stop over at this little steel girder bridge on the way home. Now I am thinking this will be great for a cache.

So after finding out I have no cache container ready. I end up with a pill bottle and a micro log sheet. Ah a bridge can hide a micro very well. So a cache is born. I hide the cache and get the GPS to average the co-ordinates while I take photos of the bridge and my TB and Beaky the Duck my foster TB. They balance on the rail while I take pictures. I opt for a shot from the road and after the picture I head back to get the TB's and move on as there is a mean storm brewing and it is still a log dirt road home. And then it happens, both TB's take a jump, Either that or the one pulled the other and I hear them bounce of the girders to the water below.... I rush over to see both have hit the ground and thankfully not land in the water or they would have been lost forever. It was by this event that I immediately knew what I would call this cache. Bit grim I know but I had no idea what the river was or is called. I had to clamber down to retrieve the TB's and can say that both are safely back with me. After a return visit and finding I had actually forgotten where it was hidden until I tried to replace it this dificulty rating has been lifted by another star...
