DRTMN 4000 Traditional Cache
Nomex: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Yes, another milestone for the highest-achieving geocacher in the area! Like the Eveready bunny, he just keep going and going and finding and finding! The object of your search is an ammo can located in rocky terrain in Buzzard's Ridge Wildlife Area in Jackson County, Iowa.
DRTMN is the first area cacher to reach 4000 finds. This cache is placed to commemorate this personal milestone of his. I've initially stocked it with 3 TBs, a rain poncho and a log.
He wanted a high-terrain cache, but one that also would reward you with a fairly easy find once you got there. What a guy! Be aware you should be in good physical shape to do this cache and observe all normal rules for hiking safety. This is definitely not for kids!
If you have not experienced hiking on steep terrain and do not have proper boots, sticks and other necessary stuff, please consider not doing this cache. If you are okay with the above and you are in good shape, you may attempt it, but do so at your own risk. This ain't no steen-king micro - it's a real cache, baby, waiting for a capable finder. Have fun!
P.S. People are working hard to get this cache. Fakes will have their log deleted!
