Geocache Description:


This is the Troll's Park in Viking. It's very cute. Please bring the kids, if you have them, so that they may enjoy this park. There is a viking ship complete with viking statue, a huge 'rock' (great for taking pics of the kids on) and a lovely walking trail through the small park. The tourist information booth is located here as well as the town's old Train Station. Also of note in Viking is the huge new arena located at the south-east end of town. This replaces the old arena which unfortunately burned down about a year ago. The old arena was the home of the Sutter boys, six of whom ended up playing in the NHL. At the location of the old arena, west of downtown, is a huge mural dedicated to the Sutters. Located out on the highway by the grain elevators is a huge corn maze. We finally went to this last halloween and it was a blast. It was a lot harder than I thought, but not as hard as the one by Lacombe.
