Geocache Description:

WWFM III - World Wide Flash Mob - San Diego Style
Be a part of geocaching history!

This is a Flash Mob Gathering of Geocachers
Only 15 minutes long! You MUST be present and sign a log sheet DURING this time to claim the event.
Please BYOP! (Bring your own pen) plus a small garbage bag to help CITO the area

Summary: The Basic Idea

This event is part of the WWFM III - World Wide Flash Mob coordinated events (see growing bookmark list)
Thousands of geocachers at dozens of events all around the globe, gathering at the same time

Our first Flash Mob was in May, 2007 held at Balboa Park (see video) and it was a great success with almost 200 geocachers attending. The second Flash Mob (WWFM) was November 2007 at Belmont Park in Mission Beach (see video), and it was a moving flash mob!

THIS TIME, join us in scenic Coronado near the Ferry Landing for a Flash Mob with a fantastic San Diego skyline view.
Check out our recon video to get a preview of the location

The Plan

The event will begin precisely at 10:00am on Saturday, May 10th.
An Orange Bucket full of Nice Swag placed on ground zero will signal the start of the event!!!
The first coordinates will lead you to the FIRST waypoint, near the Ferry landing
The event will be facilitated by volunteers. If you'd like to be a WWFM volunteer, please contact us (podcacher@gmail.com) and let us know.

Prior to the start time, mosey and wander about nonchalantly ... Then when the bucket is set down ... converge on the First Waypoint!

AFTER the event is officially over, feel free to meet up at the 4th waypoint.
You can use this opportunity to make plans with other geocachers for brunch or caching in the neighborhood.

If any muggles are curious about the event we will have a volunteer hand out fliers that explain geocaching.

We hope to gather a "good showing" of cachers at this event. Tell your friends and help promote the event.

Suggestion: COME EARLY TO FIND PARKING. If you can't find parking you might miss the event!
The parking coordinates are just one suggestion. Check out google maps for other possible parking locations in the area.
There is also some street parking available.

Parking Coordinates:

There are sure to be several muggles nearby who will wonder "What did I just see? What just happened?" That's part of the fun!!!
