Turnagain Pass. New container 3/12/2009
Just a short walk, ski, snowshoe from the parking lot. The only problem with this cache is how much snow was there the day the cache was placed? There seemed to be over eight feet on the median of the road. Cache was placed below snow level on a hemlock or was it a spruce? Great area for caching, snowshoeing, skiing, hiking, or even hiking up the mountains to ski down. You can even build a snow cave. There were several at the parking lot. Sledding? A family was sledding right next to the cache location. Come on out and enjoy one the biggest playgrounds around.
