Geocache Description:

Usefull information for Geocachers who want to find the cache in the winter: snowshoes can be rented at the ski shops in Nendaz for 19 francs and it's a wonderfull experience to do and very important, it's not difficult at all!!!

This cache is situated around the village of Haute Nendaz. We come every year for 4 month to this village for skiing in the winter and walking in the spring, summer and autumn. Haute Nendaz is not only famous for the good skiing facilities in the winter but also for the Bisses. These are little water canals that transport water from a higher point to a village that is situated mostly on the same altitude but at the other side of the mountain.

This walk is along two of these Bisses. It's a wonderful easy walk of 13 km and takes half a day. Great views of Wallis! This walk brings you through nice villages and quiet woods. I suggest to take something to eat and to drink.

You don't need to make any kind of calculations during the walk. The only thing is to find out which picture corresponds with the coordinates you are at that moment. You can fill in the digit in the tabel and if everything is right you have the coordinates of the cache!

You can also download the coordinates so you don't have to do it manually: GPX or GDB file.
