Heartland Cacher: Greetings from Geocaching.com I'm Heartland Cacher, one of the volunteer reviewers for new caches submitted to Geocaching.com.

It has been a while since I first looked at this cache. I can't find any recent responses from the Cache Owner about maintaining this cache which makes it appear the Cache Owner is either unwilling or unable to maintain the cache. Cache maintenance includes listing maintenance including updating any changes to the text, updating coordinates, removing needs maintenance attributes and enabling the listing. The cache will be archived and removed from the active cache listings. Should the owner decide to maintain the cache in the near future (30 days), just contact me (by email including the GCXXX and Cache Name), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, I'll be happy to unarchive it.

Thanks for your understanding,
Heartland Cacher

Look Up and What Do You See?

Light Bulbs!

The Demise Of Humanity? Not on my watch!

As most of you know,  over the last few years certain politicians have been pushing us to change our incandescent light bulbs to florescent light bulbs. While florescent bulbs do use less electricity than incandescent bulbs it is well known by any 5th grade school student that florescent bulbs do NOT suck heat! Incandescent bulbs suck the heat out of the atmosphere which causes them to be very hot to the touch! The burning heat you feel when you touch an incandescent bulb is the heat flowing from your fingers into the bulb. Florescent bulbs do not suck heat so they remain cool to the touch. This extra heat which is left in the atmosphere will help cause the Earth to warm at an alarming rate thus contributing to Global Warming! Incandescent bulbs suck heat thus help to keep the planet cool.

Secondly; Not only do florescent lights not suck heat, but they don't suck the same wavelengths of darkness as incandescent bulbs. Although this effect is not as evident or as serious as sucking the heat from the air, it is still vital for the existence of  life on Earth. Incandescent lights suck all wavelengths of darkness, Florescent lights leave much of the UV darkness behind. This can cause skin problems in animal life but at the same time be good for plant life. This has been proven by Bell Labs and other scientific organizations.

If you wish to do your part in saving the planet then DO NOT change to florescent light bulbs. Stock up on incandescent, the higher the wattage the better. 100 watt incandescent light bulbs suck more heat and suck more dark! Put a 100 watt bulb in your refrigerator and the food will stay cooler provided the light stays on when you close the door. (Please don't check to see if the refrigerator light stays on by crawling inside.) I've changed all my bulbs back to incandescent. I will be able to tell if you have if the overall world wide temperatures drop over the next few years!

If the Bell Labs  link does not work, just Google Dark Suckers for all the proof you need that what I am telling you is true!

Enjoy
