This is the first, of we hope many caches we will place in villages surrounding Usk.
The theme of these will be the prefix Llan meaning church land.
The caches will be placed in areas with a view of the local churches.
We hope you find the area and architecture as beautiful as we do.
The given co-ordinates are for a near by Car Park.
From here you will need to go to the Alfred Russel Wallace monument, co-ordinates for which are listed below.
Alfred Wallace was a co-discoverer with Charles Darwin of the process of evolution by Natural Selection.
Born in 1823 at Kensington Cottage (walk to the top of the rise and look towards Usk - the white house on the left hand side).
Find the year that Alfred Russel Wallace became a Fellow of the Royal Society. Using these numbers work out the following clues to find the cache.

A = The sum of the first and second number minus the third number.
B = The third number minus the fourth number.
C = The sum of the second number and fourth number minus the third number.
D = The third number minus the fourth number plus the first number.
