This cache has been placed here for a reason. As many of you are aware, one of the local geocachers, Team Kobudo, has placed a stream of increasingly more difficult and ‘surprising’ caches in the area of late. Well, we think that it’s time for a little ‘evening of the playing field’.
As a result and after collaborating with ‘Mizdeeds’ (many thanks) we have come up with a cache that some may consider to be just as difficult as Team Kobudo’s (if not more). Of course, some will know what to do right away, but many will not.
We will say this much… solving the puzzle is only half the task. Getting to the cache will be the other. There are no paths, plenty of mud, tons of trees to upset satellite signals and other obstacles. You might be lucky and find it right away… then again, you might not. At a minimum, plan for bushwhacking at least 0.3 miles round trip. Remember, there is no trail – you may need boots. When placing this cache we found evidence of deer, rabbits, opossums, raccoon, coyote, foxes and owls.
The idea for this puzzle came from a cache back in Australia and many thanks to ‘abowie’ for allowing the use of the idea.
