Geocache Description:

Photo cache in the Eden Gardens State Park. You must be able to ID several statues to find the information necessary to determine the location of the final. The final is located within walking distance just outside the park boundaries.

***The cache is NOT hidden at the posted coordinates!!***

Park hours are 0800 to sunset, 365 days a year. That being said, the final container is hidden outside the park, within easy walking distance.

To find the cache you will need to find six statues in the Gardens. I call them Peter, Alvin, Oliver, Davy, Sara and Fishface. They have information that will allow you to solve the puzzle and find the cache.

The cache is hidden at N30° 22.XXX W086° 07.YYY.

XXX= 100P+2A-D

Heavy tree cover adds to the difficulty of this cache. Once again, the final container is not hidden inside the park. Enjoy the gardens.

You can check your answers for this puzzle on

Hi, I am Alvin. I am wearing a button-up shirt. How many buttons have I fastened on my shirt-front? That number is "A." Don't count the button on my pants!

My name is Davy. I'm helping my friend climb something. Do you want to know what "D" is? Count the steps.

You can call me Fishface, everyone does. I am surrounded by a small garden. To get "F", find the year when my garden was dedicated. Add up the four digits in the date. you will get a two digit number. Add those two digits together. You will get a one digit number. That number is "F."
Update: Unfortunately, my dedication plaque has disappeared! I hope it returns someday, but until it does: The year was 1986!

Oliver's my name. My buddy and I are having some fun! Look at what we are on. How many bolts are holding this thing together? That number is "O." Oh, and just so you don't jump to conclusions, the answer's not four!

I'm Peter. I've been standing here a long time. I'd love to move off, but my buddy and I have some bolts holding us down! How many bolts hold us to the ground? Use that number for "P."

Hello, my name is Sara. My brothers and I have gone fishing! I love fishing. It's so much fun! See how many fish we have caught today? That number is "S." Look carefully, we've caught more than one!
