People are creating lots of stump faces along this trail. It's like
walking in a valley of heads. These heads look as if they are
contemplating the panting hikers as they pass. The faces are always
changing depending on who thinks they have a better set of eyes.
The cache is a large olive container painted camouflage with a
bunch of cool stuff in it. There is a small can with smaller trade
goods in there as well. The hike up is not that bad and can be
reached without snowshoes 95% of the time.
A good pair of hiking boots will work great but in the summer
runners will do in a pinch. Take enough water and food so you can
keep going to the Bridge at Brothers Creek or even Lost Lake.
