A short but steep walk up the hill with beautiful panoramic views.
Walditch is a really lovely village with lots of history. Try and park near the Real Tennis Court or near the Church and walk up the public footpath for Shipton Gorge. The views from the top are lovely with Eggardon, Colmers Hill, Portland Bill, Chesil Beach and Golden Cap all visible. The cache site was lovely when we planted the cache, really quiet with lots of sheep and horses nearby.
PLEASE NOTE, THE CACHE IS NO LONGER IN THE WALL, ALTHOUGH THE CO-ORDINATES ARE STILL THE SAME.
This cache is on the same ridge as Bothen 360 by Mike and Mary less than 850m away, and the two would make an excellent combined walk.
