Geocache Description:


The Brigade Trail,
Camp Mewata
& Trees

An easy walk on parts of the old Brigade Trail
to an out look over Lake Okanagan.
 To the north you will pass Mewata,
 a Guide camp that has been here for 50 years.
 This cache was placed by a camp society member
 for all cachers
but with very easy access for Mewata campers
to find and learn of Geocaching and use of GPSrs.

This area is a forestry reserve
 and you will see it is badly hit by the pine beetle,
but you will also see the Spruce and Firs and flowers
 replacing the  Ponderosa pines.

This is a large cache with lots of room,
 filled with items for every age
and room for travel bugs.

 Please replace the plastic cover
as the container is not water proof.
