Geocache Description:

In Lick Creek Park . Use the west entrance. In wet weather will be a bit of water ankle deep to cross

This is a 4 x 6 Tupperware ( camo- taped ) container .It gets its name from the scientific name of the plant that is the host of the cache - Quercus nigra ( Google & other plant references will tell you what that plant is ). This is a magnificent specimen. Inside you will find the log, several items and a note as to how to visit the historic bridge nearby while you are that close.( Note: access to the west entrance can be achieved by driving to the end of Pebble Creek parkway, turning right on Royal Adalade, left on Congressional, left on Cascade to St. Andrews , left on St. A. to end of street .In dry conditions you can drive across r-o-w to park entrance)
