Geocache Description:


The World Wide Flash Mob (3rd Edition) is coming to town! This will be a FIRST for Pietermaritzburg.

This short event is synchronized with flash mobs around the world! All will take place at the same time.

This event is part of the WWFM - World Wide Flash Mob coordinated events. A flash mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, do something unusual for a brief period of time, then quickly disperse.

This World Wide Flash Mob Event will be at World's View, Hilton overlooking Pietermaritzburg, at 7:00 PM (17h00 GMT). A container placed on the ground at ground zero at exactly 7:00 PM will signal the start of the event!!! The event will last EXACTLY 15 minutes, not one second longer, and will include signing log sheets, a draw of a prize, a quick event meal, and a group photo!

Schedule of Events:

7:00 PM Event begins.
7:00 - 7:05 PM Sign the Log: Log sheets will be handed out. Sign the log sheet and dropped in the open ammo can. The prize will be drawn from the log sheets.
7:05 - 7:12 PM Event Meal: We will be handing out a quick "micro meal" so save your appetite. ****Let us know how many in your party will be attending so we know how food to bring!
7:13 - 7:14 PM Event Photo: We will snap a quick group photo. Only one official photo will be taken and posted on the event page after the event.
7:15 PM LEAVE! The event will end promptly at 7:15 PM. Please do not linger at the site. We can linger further at the Crossways afterwards if we so wish but NOT at the site.

A few things to know.
• The even will occur rain or shine!
• You must sign a log sheet in order to log the cache.
• Please do NOT linger at the site as that detracts from the spirit of the event.
• Please CITO the area as you leave.
• We will have "muggle leaflets" at the event in case bypassers wonder what we are doing.
