Geocache Description:


Very easy to locate by bicycle or on foot. You can park your car near N 50° 58.931 E 006° 01.480. Takes a few minutes to find.

The cache is a plastic container. It looks like a standard geocache. The logbook is a notepad. There will be a few items in the cache.

The cache is placed in a cross-border nature reserve at the german-dutch border. If the whether is nice, you may like to talk a walk through area of the Rodebach-brook.

During your walk it may happen that a herd of Scottish Highland cattle, how graze free in the whole area, cross your way. Because the cattle are not paled in there are a few small things to follow. Even if the cattle are very peaceful do not try to stroke or feed them, keep a sufficient distance and keep your dog on a leash.

Einfach zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad erreichbarer Cache. Du kannst dein Auto auf dem Parkplatz hier N 50° 58.931 E 006° 01.480 abstellen. Es sind ein paar Minuten bis zum Cache.

Der Cache ist ein Kunststoffbehälter. Er sieht aus wie ein Standart Geocache. Das Logbuch ist ein Notizblock. Es gibt auch ein paar Gegenstände im Cache.

Der Cache liegt in einem grenzübergreifenden Naturschutzpark an der deutsch-niederländischen Grenze. Bei schönem Wetter empfiehlt sich eine Wanderung durch das Gebiet des Rodebachs.

Beim Spaziergang kann man hin und wieder auf kleine Herden Schottischer Hochlandrinder treffen die hier frei im ganzen Park weiden. Da die Rinder nicht eingezäunt sind gibt es ein paar Kleinigkeiten zu beachten. Obwohl die Tiere sehr friedlich sind solltet ihr trotzdem vorsichtig sein. Versucht nicht die Tiere zu streicheln oder zu füttern, haltet genügend Abstand und führt Hunde an der Leine. Das gilt besonders bei Jungtieren.

Zeer gemakkelijk te vinden met de fiets of te voet. U kunt uw auto parkeren nabij N 50 58.931 E 006 01.480. Duurt een paar minuten om het te vinden.

De cache is geplaatst in een grensoverschrijdend natuurgebied in het Duits-Nederlandse grensgebied. Als het weer mooi is, mag u spreken van een mooie wandeling door het gebied van de Rodebach-beek.

Tijdens uw wandeling kan het gebeuren dat een kudde Schotse Highlanders uw pad kruisen. Omdat het vee los loopt zijn er een paar kleine dingen te volgen. De runderen zijn zeer vreedzame maar het blijven wilde dieren, dus niet proberen om ze aan te raken houdt voldoende afstand en houdt uw hond aan de riem.
