Everbody loves the fair, right?
Here's a cache you can do when you are coming to the Grant Co. Fair. Or really, you can do it any time you please. There are other great reasons to visit the fairgrounds besides the regular summer fair in August, like -- rodeos, demolition derbys, the Dutch oven cook-off, Harley trike rallys, ultimate fighting, home shows, bluegrass festivals, RV meets, concerts, the Christmas bazaar, etc. and now there's this sweet geocache, placed with permission of course.
This is the fourth of our -ITY caches. The first one is Triangularity(GC1100K), down the road a piece. Have fun with this one. If you find it on a day when nothing is happening at the fairgrounds come back later and check out some of the activities on the other occasions -- personally, I'm partial to the demo derby -- but then that's just me.
If the parking lot gate is not opened maybe try parking on Paxson Dr. downhill a little to the east. Then take a short walk to the cache. Kindly respect the shrubs and masonry. The cache is NOT in the shrubs, NOT in the brickwork or water hoses or electric fixtures. Not on the ground.
Some stealth is advisable when actually making the grab.
