Geocache Description:

A fairly easy cache located in a little known access to the hennepin canal between locks 20 and 21.

****UPDATED DESCRIPTION**** As of early 2022 the old lock master house has been removed and the area has been cleared. This area brings back many memories from my childhood and I'd like to keep this cache going to share the location with others who may want the same memories with their kiddos. Unfortunately the original cache was destroyed and cleared with the hiding spot,I replaced with a brand new lock 'n lock container within feet of the original GZ. As always please be respectful of the area, pick up trash you may find and never place food or harmful items in the cache. please place cache back and well hidden from muggles. You will be looking for a medium size lock 'n lock container near an old abandoned lock master house. Please use caution around the area as there are some thorns and weeds during times of high vegetation. Geocache is placed on Department managed property with permission. Do not place the following items in the Geocache: Food items,inappropriate,offensive, or hazardous materials. It is the visitors responsibility or orient themselves with policies and rules pertaining to this Department managed site.
