What's in a name? I've always had an interest in maps and geography. From the time I was about 10 or 11 yrs old I've had quad maps of the areas that I live in. My dad who is a land surveyor would take me to map stores and showed me how to read them. One thing that has always fascinated me about them is the names places get. This cache is for just another one of those places that you stop and scratch your head. Then you ask yourself, "I wonder where that name came from?"
