Take your camera and maybe you will be the first one to take a picture of The RockNess Monster.
The legend began many years ago in an old country store. Two old fellows were sitting around the old pot belly stove playing their regular afternoon checker game. When suddenly the door swung open and in raced a young boy and his dad. Grandpa, Grandpa you are not going to believe what happened out on the lake today, shouted the young boy. Did Dad fall in again, said Grandpa? No, something grabbed our line and towed us around the lake. Then our lines broke and up came something that looked like a dinosaur. All we saw was his head and tail. Dad gunned the engine and we headed back to shore, said the boy. Dad said it was a long day in the sun, maybe our eyes was playing tricks on us. The boy turned and looked at his dad and said, sure dad and there is no Easter Bunny either.
Several years later when the boy was much older he often came out to Bikini Point. For hours and hours he would stare out into the lake. He was hoping to take a picture of the creature that he saw many years ago. Sometimes he would shout to the boats when they would pass, "DID YOU SEE THE SEA MONSTER". After several years of this it became a local legend in the area. If you told anyone you were going out to the lake to do a little fishing, they might say, watch out for the RockNess Monster.
