Poker Run
Rules
All players
must pre register by posting a “will attend note” on the cache
event page before the event day.
There will be
a limit of 20 team or individual entrees.
Teams will be
limited to 2 cachers. And will share 1 poker hand. Teams must
travel and find the caches together.
One
un-activated geocoin
will be the entry fee per team or individual. This must be received
on the event day to get your list of cache coordinates.
There will be
5 caches with envelopes marked “P” with one card in each, and bonus
caches with envelopes marked “B” in them. You will not have to find
all of the bonus caches, but the more bonus caches you find the
better your chances of winning a prize.
You must find the caches on your
list in order. We
will send out 2 cachers or teams at a time at 5 minute intervals.
This is to prevent everyone arriving at the same cache at the same
time.
After taking
your envelope and signing the log book replace the cache the same
as you found it.
All
participants must arrive at the finish by 4:00 pm with there 5 cards. (The caches with the cards
will be closer to the start than the bonus caches)
The winning
team / individual will receive 40% of the entry fees. The rest will
be used for bonus prizes.
We will use 3
decks of cards randomly shuffled and placed in
envelopes.

following order:
