Geocache Description:

Quite a hike from the nearest road.

According to the Ordnance Survey maps the location of the cache is at the corner of "How Wood". The main question that you should be asking yourself though is "How would I get there?".

The cache location is about half a mile from the nearest road in a straight line, but more like three quarters of a mile along footpaths. Suggested starting locations are the village of Weston (approx 0.75 miles, 1.25 km North East) or the village of Graveley (approx 1.1 miles, 1.75 km South West). The path between them is a bridlepath so can be cycled, walked or ridden.

When you get to the cache location you will find good views across open farmland in all directions. How Wood itself is a traditional woodland for this region with a mixture of Beech and Oak trees and some bluebells starting to show through when the cache was hidden.

To find the cache you do not need to go into the woods, trample the bluebells or cross any boundaries; the cache is easily reachable. Please re-hide it as you found it to keep it safe, it only just fits in its hiding place.
