How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

In the Middle Ages Bayhurst Wood was part of the manor of Moorhall and belonged to the Knights Hospitallers of St John.

The cache is located very near to the footpath, so please be careful of muggles and re-hide the cache well.

This History and Nature series includes caches in the largest ancient woodland in North West London, rich in fauna and flora, with London Transport access.

Information 'treasure' specific to the surrounding area can be found in each cache.

There are quite a few trees in the area, which has made it quite difficult to get an accurate co ordinate. Please let us know if it needs updating.

It can be muddy so be prepared!
