Grahamcracker2: After a nice couple of years run in Spencerport we are opening up a spot for a newcache. The new construction on the South bank of the canal made our cache final disappear. It also stripped all the vegetation and took away all the hiding spots for a cache of that size. Thanks to all who found our cache. Happy caching!

This is a fairly simple two part multi in the historic Erie Canal town of Spencerport. You will be alongside the canal for both parts of the cache. The listed coordinates are for the first waypoint where you will find the coordinates for the final. A "gold" dollar will be there for the FTF. Depending on the time of the year ie when the canal season starts and ends , the first part can be very muggly. There is room for smaller trade items, TBs and coins. Please make sure the cache is closed properly. It is a .4 mile hike one way to the final cache. I went to the final cache location today,6-30-08 and I am raising the terrain difficulty level from a 1 1/2 to a 2 because of vegitation growth. It's a jungle out there. It will also be a 2 in the winter due to snowfall.
