Loxton North Football
Club
This cache has been placed at the home
ground of the Loxton North Football Club. The cache should not be
attempted whilst there is any activity (winter or summer sports) on
the oval or at any of the adjacent sporting venues as the cache is
in a somewhat exposed location with there being nowhere for a
cacher to hide if caught in the act!
The Loxton North Football Club plays in
the Riverland Football League. The Loxton North Football Club is
known as the Loxton North Panthers, and they wear navy blue and
white jumpers.
According to the footypedia web site the Loxton North Football
Club first played in 1954 in the Upper Murray B Grade Football
Association. In 1964 the Loxton North Football Club commenced
playing in the Upper Murray Football
League.
In 1972 the Riverland Football League was
adopted as the name of the competition, with the Loxton North
Football Club first becoming premiers in 1979.

The competition is currently called the
Riverland Football League and comprises the following
