Nice spot for a little stash trading!
Regular container at a spot near to my heart. In another life I was a science teacher at Escalante High School about 25 miles from this spot. I can't tell you how many times I have driven along this road to go to the "Big City" of Cedar City to go get groceries, go to a movie, golf... you name it.
During the time of one of these trips, I was in a masters program learning about geology. I spotted the bluff to the north of where this cache is located, and noticed that the colors of the different rock layers jumps a bit... It is evidence of some sort of earth movement some long time ago.
I have never looked up any charts to see if it is a described faultline or not. I have always just thought of it as my fault. I found it, and it is mine.
There is a ranch road that you can pull out and park at about 50 yards from the cache. PLEASE do not park along the highway. Container is regular sized - a clear rubbermaid jar with a screw top. No camo, except for the hiding spot. Please rehide this as well or better than you found it. Trade fairly. There is a handsome FTF prize of $5 - good luck to the hunters.
