Poo Pond Traditional Cache

The cache should be an easy find once you get to it. However you will need to walk just under a kilometre to get there and cross a couple of very small creeks. Park at the end of Hodgson Drive and take the track on your left following the fence-line. Say hello to the Horses on your way past. When you get to the PAWA fence follow the track on the right which will deteriorate into swamp. Head up to the fence then and enjoy the view and rich natural scents.
OK, why a sewerage treatment pond I here you ask?
Well, firstly didn't you always wonder where it ended up after you flush?
Second, it's a nice easy walk in local bushland.
And finally, the aquatic bird life. Many species flock here, especially during the dry season which is why this place is popular with local bird watchers.
Bring good footwear, water, a hat and binoculars.
Don't worry, it doesn't smell that bad!
