How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

A micro cache on the Thames Path.

The cache is placed here rather than in what might seem the more obvious group of trees upstream, because that is a protected area for breeding waterfowl.

The cache contains a pencil, but please also bring your own, you may need it.

There is chargeable parking in the Pleasure Grounds, where you can get an ice-cream, use the loo, etc. The car park closes at night. Alternatively, see the parking arrangements for "Thames Moorings - Runnymede" if you are coming from that direction.

If you are in a boat, there are moorings above and below the cache, but do not moor at the Pleasure Grounds.

When replacing this cache, it is best to place the rolled up log into the SHORT end of the container, then it sticks out so the next cacher can easily remove it. Put the pencil in the LONG end, because that slides out easily, and with the point pointing inwards.

Handicache rating H12121.

Don't forget the pencil.
