Geocache Description:


This is a nice roadside cache close to the N3.

The Cache will bring you to the Highest Point on the Comrades Marathon route, with a good view towards Pietermarizburg. This point is 870 meters above see.

The Comrades Marathon is run since 1921 and is the Ultimate ultra race in the world, and the route alternates every year with the Down race to Durban the odd years and the Up race to Pietermarizburg the even years. The race distance is approximately 89 km depending the derection.

The cache is a smallish container big enough for small TB’s and coins.

Please replace the container in the same place as you found it, so that the cachers after you can enjoy the hunt as well.
