Very close to the Humber Hill trig point. Spectacular views across the area on a clear day. Particularly nice on a warm evening.
The history of this place is rather sketchy, some believe it was a possible site for a Roman signal station for the Roman Soldiers to signal to fellow soldiers at Ebchester Roman Fort.
The earliest archaeological finds from this area suggest that there could have been Bronze age tribes living nearby.
Take some gloves as a precaution as there may be some nettles in summer months.
Please replace the cache as you found it to protect it against the weather and from muggles.
