One of a series of six regular caches on a round walk between Egerton and Boughton Malherbe. You can also take in two church micros.
This is a series of regular caches on a five mile round walk between Egerton and Boughton Malherbe mostly on public footpaths with some short stretches on quiet lanes. The outward half is on a well marked part of the Greensand Way. The return half is for the most part on well marked footpaths. A couple of extra waypoints are included in the description for #1 to assist with wayfinding where paths are not obvious.
Parts of the walk will be muddy when wet, so good footwear is recommended.
When setting the caches we met a couple who were testing the same walk for inclusion on a Walk Kent web-site, and we saw many bluebells, daffodils, wood anemones, primroses, marsh marigolds and new-born lambs. It took about three and a half hours including the two church micros.
There is ample on road parking in Egerton as well as a pub, local store and garage.
You are looking for a 0.8l round clip top box. Enjoy the walk
