Greater Volusia Tennis League 10, Harbor Village
The Greater Volusia Tennis League, GVTL, is an adult tennis league for tennis club members in Volusia and southern Flagler Counties. There are about 20 clubs that participate with about 1500 players in the league. About half a dozen active levels of play for both men and women are provided as well as several mixed doubles leagues. Play is mostly doubles as court time at member clubs can be at a premium.
Harbor Village is One of the newest Clubds to join the GVTL, fielding their first team in the 2007-2008 season. That makes them kind of an 'expansion' team. Time will tell. The courts are near by but on private property. If you look to the south west toward the club house you can see a blue canvas awning which is where they are.
Kind of a pedestrian cache. A small bit of the cache is showing. Please leave it the same way so it's easy to retrieve. Nothing in the cache but a log so bring a pen.
