Interurban Hiroimono Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

FobesMan: First chance I have had to check on this since I have been travelling a lot the last couple of days. The cache is indeed gone. Looks like the fence might have been replaced. Hard to let go of my first puzzle cache. Thanks to all who enjoyed it.

Geocache Description:

This is a fun little puzzle that I borrowed from a cache that I saw from Let's Look Over Thayer in California near San Diego.

They deserve full credit for the puzzle and the idea but the hide is my own. Please feel free to congratulate them on a great puzzle. You can view their own version of this idea at GC14VW8

The listed coordinates are not where the cache is located but can be used for parking. The muggle traffic along the trail can be very heavy so please look stealthily.

Your goal for this puzzle is to remove all of the 16 white balls from the board leaving only the single black ball when you are finished. To remove the white balls you must start by moving the black ball in any direction and then follow these rules.

1) Only the black ball can move.
2) The black ball can only move along the lines.
3) The black ball can move along any line in any direction except for back the way it came; the lines do not wrap
4)The black ball must stop when it runs into a white ball, which replaces the white ball and removes it from the board.
5) While moving along a line and before it runs into a white ball the black ball may not turn. It must continue along the current line in one direction until it runs into a white ball.

To solve for the North coordinates, add the sum of the numbers of the first 8 balls that are removed from the board to N47° 57.000. To solve for the West Coordinates add the sum of the numbers of the last 8 balls that are removed from the board to W122° 12.000.

Congratulations to smksmith for the FTF
