Upper Coliban - V2
This cache is a
replacement for the nearby Coliban Cache which was muggled once to
often, once by friendly forces and finally by destructive
elements.
One of the problems of
the old cache was that it kept getting damp inside, a problem
not shared by the nearby reservoir which is now almost completely
empty. It is a harsh reminder of the way the drought has affected
inland waterways.
This cache is sited in
the nearby reserve which would have once hosted water view picnics,
but now no longer. The hiding place could easily have taken a
larger cache so I may replace it when next this way.
Please take care not to
be observed when retrieving so that it enjoys a longer life than
its predecessor.
The cache is a 250ml
painted plastic container with logbook and small swaps
only.
