Denne helt igennem traditionelle cache tilbyder en dejlig tur på Ordrup Næs, med en smuk udsigt til Sejerø, Nekselø og Sjællands Odde. Det kræver naturligvis at vejret er godt, men det er det næsten altid i Odsherred.

Gå langs strandstien (Se waypoint) og følg næsset rundt. Cachen ligger næsten på spidsen af næsset, hvor du også kan komme højt til vejrs og nyde udsigten. Det er en dejlig gåtur på ca. 1,5 km, undervejs passeres flere folde med får – så vis hensyn, specielt hvis du medbringer hund.

I klintprofiler på Ordrup Næs ses bl.a. iskontaktsedimenter fra Storebæltsgletscheren samt flager af marine sedimenter, der sandsynligvis stammer fra slutningen af tredjesidste istid – Elster Istiden.

Området besøges flittigt af fiskere, ornitologer og andre folk, der holder af naturen. Så pas godt på at du ikke bliver set af mugglere, når du finder cachen. Find eventuelt også cachen GCNQ0Y - den fortjener et besøg!

Ordrup Næs

This all together traditional cache offers a lovely trip to Ordrup Næs, with a beautiful view to Sejrø, Nekselø and Sjællands Odde. It requires good weather off course, but it almost always is in Odsherred.

Walk along the beach path (See waypoint) and follow the headland around. The cache is almost on the tip of the headland, where you also can get up high and enjoy the view. It is a lovely walk, about 1,5 km long, during which you pass several enclosures with sheep – so show regard, specially if you bring a dog.

In the profile of the cliff on Ordrup Næs you can see ice-contact-sediments from the Storebælt-glacier, and flakes of marine sediments, that most likely comes from the end of the Elster Ice age (the third from last ice age)

The area is frequently visited by fishers, ornithologist and others who love the nature. So be careful, that you are not seen by mugglers, when you find the cache. You can also find the cache GCNQ0Y while you are out there – it deserves a visit.
