Riner és un municipi de la comarca del Solsonès, d'uns 287 habitants (any 2007) i d'una superfície de 47,10 km². Aquest cache està molt a prop de la Torre de Riner, que data del segle XII (1029).


L'aproximació en cotxe es pot fer a partir de la carretera entre Solsona i Manresa (C-1410), on hi ha el trencall direcció Freixenet i Su al punt N 41º 56.759' E 001º 35.923', on s'agafa uns 250 metres una carretera asfaltada fins al punt N 41º 56.697' E 001º 35.772' on hi ha un camí de terra. El camí es prou bo com per fer'l en cotxe, però si es vol es pot deixar aquí i fer la resta a peu. En ambdós casos, s'ha de seguir fins a N 41º 56.605' 001º 33.861', on des de ja fa un bon tros abans es pot contemplar la Torre de Riner. Ara només falta fer uns 200 metres fins al parking, a N 41º 56.508' 001º 33.811'.

La torre, és una de les parts més importants que hi havia del castell. Té una altura de 16 metres i els murs una amplada d'uns 2 metres. Es pot accedir al seu interior, ja que la seva porta metàl·lica està oberta, només s'ha de treure la barra horitzontal per entrar.

Per arribar al cache, s'ha d'agafar un petit camí que va direcció al riu, seguint les marques del PR (marques blanques i grogues). Comença a N 41º 56.473' E 001º 33.844' i en menys de 5 minuts s'arriba a l'alçada del cache.

Riner is a town of the Solsonès region, has 287 inhabitants (year 2007) and an area of 47,10 km². This cache is very near Torre de Riner, that it dates from the 12th century (1029).


The vehicle approach can be made from the road between Solsona and Manresa (C-1410), there are a detour to Freixenet and Su direction in the point N 41º 56.759' E 001º 35.923', in 250 meters there is a pavented road until the point N 41º 56.697' E 001º 35.772', here a dirt way starts. The way is suitable for cars, but optionally the car can leave here and walk. In both cases, the way has to be followed until N 41º 56.605' 001º 33.861', from this way Torre de Riner can be seen from far away. From here, there are 200 meters until the parking, in N 41º 56.508' 001º 33.811'.

The tower, is one of the most important parts that there were in the castle. It has an altitude of 16 meters and the walls a width of approximately 2 meters. Is allowed to access inside the tower, the metallic door is open, only has to be taken out to horizontal bar to enter.

To go to the cache zone, has to be walked for a small way that goes to the river, following the PR marks (white and yellow marks). It starts in N 41º 56.473' E 001º 33.844' and in less than 5 minutes it is possible to arrive at the final zone.
