A part of the "Hopewell Big Woods Challenge". This is a relatively short hike in SGL 43. Be aware of hunting seasons and wear orange at appropriate times. Do not cache in game lands during Deer Season except on Sundays.
I grew up on an adjoining farm. At the time this land was owned by Bethlehem Steel and was destined to become an iron ore mine similar to the one near Morgantown. When the local steel industry shut down, this land became part of SGL 43. As kids we never were allowed to play in this woods thus the name of the cache. Try to keep your route to the cache as natural looking as possible so those that follow can share the same experience. The difficulty and terrain ratings may go up by a point in summer depending on a couple factors. Spoiler logs will be deleted. Suitable revisions will be accepted.
