Welkom bij Giatsu ( Hoger gelegen zandplek omringd door water )
De Gemeente Grave heeft toestemming verleend tot plaatsing van deze cache onder voorwaarde dat de natuur wordt gerespecteerd en dat de speurtocht door enkel kleine groepen mensen wordt gedaan. ( zoals in familieverband )
Niet zo geschikt voor fietsen ivm wisselend terrain.
De totale afstand is ongeveer 7 Km en de afstanden tussen de waypoints varieren tussen 300 meter en 1 Km. De 8-vormige tocht gaat door bos , landbouwgebied, en natuurontwikkelingsgebied. Fijne picknickplekjes voorhanden.
Startpunt is de molen “Bergzicht” bij Gassel : N 51.44.658 E 005.46.140
Hier is ruimte om je vervoermiddel te parkeren. Bouwjaar molen = A
Ga dan naar WP1 : N 51. 44. ( A-1334) E 005. 45 . 753 ( beuk)
Hier vind je een aanwijzing naar WP2
Bij WP2 vind je een paal met twee fietsroutenummers. Tel deze bij elkaar op : = B
Ga naar WP3 : N 51. 43. 822 E 005. 46. (B+249).
Dat is ongeveer 1km verder en aan het begin van klein paadje. ( Eik )
Bij WP3 vind je een aanwijzing naar WP4
Aangekomen bij WP4 : tel het aantal rode vlakken van de vlag ( = C )
Ga dan naar WP5; N 51. 43. ( C + 682 ) E 005. 45. 734
Zoek bij WP5 ( hek ) de coordinaten die leiden naar WP6
Aangekomen bij WP6, tel het aantal horizontale houten balkjes. ( = D )
Ga dan naar WP7; N 51. 43. 793 E 005. 45. ( D + 614 )
Zoek op WP7 een aanwijzing in een zeer kleine zilveren container die leidt naar WP8.
Bij WP8 ( paaltje ) vind je een aanwijzing naar WP9 .
Op WP9 vind je een aanwijzing naar WP10 achter een eik.
WP10 is verborgen in een bocht van een ruiterpaadje. Hier vind je de coordinaten van de Stash in een zeer kleine gouden container.

Welcome to Giatsu. This is an old German word for a pice of land surrounded by water.
The municipal of Grave gave its permission to place this cache in the woods of Gassel. This only under the strict conditions that the nature will be respected and that this quest must only be performed by small groups like family size. You come accross some nice pick nick areas. Not so much suitable for bicycles.
The total length is approximately 7 Km and the distances between waypoints vary from 300 to 1000 meters. The route is shaped like an 8 and you will find yourself in forest, farmland, and natural development areas that are open to the public.
Starting point is the windmill called “Bergzicht” near the small village of Gassel:

Here you can park your vehicle. Year that this mill was built = A
Now proceed to WP1 : N 51. 44. ( A-1334) E 005. 45 . 753 ( Beach tree)
Here you will find a clue on how to get to WP2.
Once arrived at WP2, you will find two bicycle route numbers attached to a lamppost.
The total of both numbers = B
Now proceed to WP3; : N 51. 43. 822 E 005. 46. (B+249). ( Approximately 1 km)
At WP3 , at the beginning of a small trail on an oak tree, you will find a clue that brings you to WP4
Once arrived at WP4, count the amount of red squares in the flag ( = C )
Then go to WP5; N 51. 43. ( C + 682 ) E 005. 45. 734
Once arrived at WP5 ( gate) , look for a clue that will bring you to WP6.
Once arrived at WP6, count the amount of horizontal wooden beams (= D)
Then proceed to WP7: ; N 51. 43. 793 E 005. 45. ( D + 614 )
Once arrived at WP7, look for a message in a very small silver container that will lead you to WP8.
Once arrived at WP8, ( Fence pole) look for a clue that will lead you to WP9.
Once arrived at WP9, look for a clue that will lead you to WP10.
Once arrived at WP10, look for coordinates in a very small golden container that will lead you to the stash.
