This is Shoreline's newest park and is not well-developed but the trail system is good and its an easy walk. The best parking is on NE 150th St near an entrance to the park at N 47° 44.253 W 122° 18.313. Parking is also available in the south parking lot of Shorecrest High School at N47 44.360, W122 18.264. NOTE: Permits for parking here is required during weekdays when school is in session between 0730-1500.
This is my first cache. I just got started geocaching and by searching out caches have learned that Shoreline has a multitude of parks and cool places for enjoying nature as well as caching and this is one of their newest - just dedicated last Fall. Not much for facilities yet but nice trails - like Hamlin Park without the crowds.
You are looking for a sandwich size plastic container with room for geocoins, TBs and trade items. Not too complicated but you're biggest challenge will be getting good signals in the tall trees.
Suggest bringing a bag for trash. The high school kids do use this park to hang out.
Congrats to EFHutton for FTF - midnight in the rain!! Good job!
