One day after picking my daughter up from preschool we saw an
AMAZING rainbow--it was brilliantly colored and stretched across
the sky. We spent some time chasing it around Poulsbo and
discovered this area during our travels. The rainbow seemed to end
here. As we looked down the hilltop we saw the gorgeous rainbow
stretched out in front of us.
Although we can't share the rainbow, we can share with you a
beautiful view of the Olympics. Do this cache on a clear day and
you will be rewarded with a pot of gold in the form of a lovely
view of the mountains.
This general area is quite busy during the workday, but the
cache is in an oasis of green that should provide a bit of cover.
Parking is abundant near the cache site. As a parent of a two year
old and four year old, I'm happy to say that this cache is one that
even the youngest cachers should be able to find.
The cache container is small but will fit small trade items and
geocoins. No travelbugs please, the cache is too small for them to
have a safe home here. Please remember to trade even or trade up!
And PLEASE do NOT take swag if you do not have anything to leave!
I've already had to refill the cache once after it was left EMPTY.
