Geocache Description:

This should be a fairly easy land and grab.
Please leave no trace of your adventure. If too many crop circles appear or humans disappear, I will be forced to remove the cache.

Congratulations to Joe Hardy on the FTF and to Scrabblehounds, Rumba's Pal & BigImaginationBoy for STF
There are also collectible (I hope!) cache cards for the first sixteen people. You do not need to trade for these. Please limit yourself to one card per caching id.

Today is a good day to cache.

You and your crew are on a mission to boldly go where no cacher has gone before.
Beep! Beep! An emergency call from the Enterprising Cacher (N-Seek-Seek-1701).
Jean-Luc-ing for cache Picard rushes to answer the call.
Opening the channel, we see FirstTF Officer Spock on screen.
"We have received word that an important ambassador, E.T., is trying to phone home, but is unable to connect." he informs us.
"Perhaps the archaic phone system is no longer operable.
Proceed at Worf speed to the posted coordinates and inspect the premises.
Naturally, we suspect foul play considering the sensitive nature of his mission."

Rushing to the scene, you discover not fowl play, but turtle play.
Laughing at the reptilian rapscallions, you and your crew quickly discover the problem.
Signals from a nearby moon are jamming the phone lines.
"Oh no." murmurs HAL, "That's no moon."
"We need to leave. Now", commands Jean-Luc-ing
"Look at the turtles", exclaims Dr. MiCroy
By a strange Quark of nature, the turtles seem to have arranged themselves in a pattern on the building.
Perhaps it is relevant?
But, how?

"Use the Force" comes a ghostly voice.
Turning, you see a shining figure.
"Show yourself!", you command.
"Awww. You're no fun.", says the figure as the glow slowly fades.
"Haven't you heard," he continues.
"All communication is now controlled by Micros, oft referred to as the corporation."
"You can't call from a pay phone for free. You need latinum."
"There's a bank right there," he continues as he points across the street.
"Now be good citizens, make a withdrawl and stimulate the economy."
Dismayed, your team cringes.
We have lots of fun, but no funds.
Noticing your expression, the newcomer rubs his hands together and continues.
"I have a little bet going with some friends of mine. Help me win and I'll give you enough latinum for one call."
"The rules are simple." he continues "Find the portal to another universe (which is disguised as small, ordinary, clear box.) Remove the tickets (which resemble a logbook) and book passage on the next flight of fancy."
"What is the catch?, queries a wary MiCroy.
"Ahhhh" comes the reply "Just a minor one. Return here and spin a tale about your voyage for all to read."
"All you need to find the portal is outlined here." he continues as he beams the following information to your paperless caching device.
